It's time to forget about the past
To wash away what happened last -- 30 Seconds To Mars
Everytime I try to forget about what has happened in the past and move beyond it, something happens that seems to make me relive it all over again. A certain scent, a sound... or when I see Eomer and Faramir watching me carefully as I do things. I can see the worry in their eyes and I know my brother cannot forget that time he spent sitting by my sickbed after my fight with the Witch King. Everytime someone mentions Pellenor Fields, both he and Faramir's faces pale a little.
There are times that I hear the sounds of swords and I relive that time so clearly -- whether I want to or not.
How do you forget about the past when what happened changed the face of an entire world?
